Our Easter Chicks

We had a great Easter this year!  Marmee came over to help the twins dye easter eggs for the first time.  It was interesting to say the least. Looking at the pictures....I bet you can guess what color most of the eggs were.

 

We went to Papa & Lolli's house to hunt easter eggs and have easter dinner.  You guys ate way too much candy, but you had a blast with the fam.

And how could i forget...the easter bunny brought you guys BICYCLES.  I will have to post more on those later-they are pretty sweet.  We didn't do a whole lot for your birthday, so we splurged a little on the bikes for easter :)

Words

There are so many new things they do each day and it is so hard to keep up!  I just wanted to write a few things down while I had a chance.  I am called Mommy and Becca is called Momma.  The babies know the difference but can only say momma right now.  We are working on mommy:)  People say girls usually talk more than boys but that is not the case with our two:)  Calvin talks a lot more than Sloan and often tries to repeat things we say.  The word doesn't usually sound the same but he usually gets the syllables correct.  Marmee helped Calvin learn how to say Sloan this weekend.  He pronounces it Noan:)  Sloan can say duck and then says a form of quack quack!   They have several words they can say and can point out pictures of several things (ball, dog, brush, shoes, socks, cup.)   Dog is still the favorite word of both of them.  They LOVE their Michigan! 

Becca has been working with both babies on parts of the body.  They can point out their eyes, ears, nose, mouth, belly and belly-button (bee bo).  Calvin can say almost all of them!! 

BECCA you should add to this!  I know I am leaving things out.
